Prayer to the Potter

You create something from nothing
in your potter’s handsP1120851 - Copy
Hold vast blue gatherings
leftovers, from land and sea

transform dust and mist
toils and tears
by breath of wind
to billowing life of clouds

You create something from nothing
in Your potters hands
Rainbow tinged
shadowed with shapes

Hold me in your infinite love
gather moments
I’ve thought wasted
into something more beautiful

than the clouds
colored with hope
over-flowing with gratitude
enriched by sorrows
